Starting to save me cost me and I was not aware of the ant expenses I had. Nor did I notice certain customs that made me lose money on things I really didn’t need. So I discovered that the way to pay for my purchases greatly influenced my monthly savings purpose.
In this note I tell you my experience so that you also realize how you spend more. Will you still use the credit card or cash?
A temptation for ant expenses
When I analyzed my expenses I could realize that I tended to withdraw all money and have it in my wallet. This made me more likely to spend it on that coffee I bought in the afternoons, or perhaps on a sandwich I saw that accompanied my American coffee well.
The cost was not so expensive as to pay with my card so I used the cash I had on hand and thus easily lost twenty soles at my whim a day.
Sure the same thing happens to you when you’re going to buy some candy in the corner cellar, right? Well, if you add them all you will see that those cravings that you satisfy with your cash can represent a good amount to save that you are squandering.
Supermarket expenses: Better without credit card
Ant expenses are cravings we have for the day, but supermarket expenses for groceries of the week or month are, or should be, expenses that you plan very well. As it is planned expenses it is better to use cash in this case since they are within your personal budget.
Buying groceries with your credit card will lead you to have debts you don’t need and pay equally unnecessary interest.

Use cash to go out in a group
Dating your group of friends is fun. In my case I realized that I used to carry the card and cash in my outings, which made me spend more. Being aware of this I started to carry only cash to avoid the temptation to use plastic money and I managed to save a good sum and spend only on my budget for the day.
The means you choose to pay will greatly influence when making some consumption. Evaluate which one allows you to save more and put it into practice.
